Nasir Hussain, BPharm, MBA, PhD

Nasir performs Regulatory Research, Policy & Intelligence at Gilead Sciences Europe, representing the company on several trade associations. Prior roles working as a regulatory analyst at Bloomberg and as a Quality Reviewer at the MHRA, the latter where he represented the Agency on several EU working groups. Nasir trained as a scientist where he oversaw formulation development work at a drug-device firm and earlier lectured & researched at University College London on the pharmacy degree programs. He is a board-registered pharmacist and completed his PhD and postdoc work at UCL and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in oral peptide drug delivery and cancer gene therapy, respectively.
