Patrick Larcier is a Senior Director and works on Strategic Product Development Solutions for our global projects at PharmaLex. With his drug development experience, his role is to provide the right project with the right solution at the right timing.
Until recently, he was leading the Development Consulting and Vigilance activities at PharmaLex France & BeNeLux.
His expertise lies in the design and implementation of regulatory strategies at all stages of clinical development for complex and innovative medicinal products.
Patrick works specifically on:
- the early phases of development (First-in human and Phase 2 studies),
- the interactions with EU or US Regulatory Agencies,
- the co-development of IVDs and drugs,
- and “Due diligence’ activities on behalf of pharmaceutical , biotech companies or investment funds willing to acquire or invest in some specific products/portfolio.
Patrick has significant experience in the development of monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines and IVDs/CDx tests, specifically in the areas of Oncology, CNS, Auto-Immune Disorders and Infectious Diseases.
Prior to co-funding PharmaLex France in September 2016, Patrick gained more than 25-year experience in various senior positions: he was Vice-President, Drug Development and Vigilance Operations at Voisin Consulting Life Sciences; Vice-President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at TcLand Expression and Vice-President, Drug Development, at Neovacs.
Before, Patrick was Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs, at Biogen International. Patrick also had various clinical research positions in CROs and with GSK International and Abbott Laboratories. .
Patrick obtained his Pharm. D., from the University of Dijon (France), a ‘Certificate in Methodology of Clinical Trials’ (CESAM) and an ‘Certificate in Tropical and Humanitarian Medicine’ at the ‘Pierre et Marie’ Curie University in Paris, France. Patrick also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.
