Abbott

João is a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Associate Director of Regulatory Strategy at Abbott. João has experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality within the Medical Device and IVD industries. João works with Abbott divisions in his current role by providing strategic direction and technical guidance on EU MDR/IVDR, Eurasian Economic Union, UK, and Switzerland regulatory frameworks. He also participates externally in various MedTech Europe's working groups (WG), currently serving as a chair of the Economic Operators WG and as a stakeholder representative with EU authorities. João is a regular speaker at conferences and events. Before joining Abbott, João worked for different device/FMCG manufacturers as an asandonsulting firm.
