Damien Sherlock, MSc

Damien is a Senior Quality Manager for Global Digital Health & Healthcare Solutions at Boston Scientific. He has 30 years’ experience working within the Healthcare Industry. He began his career as an Analytical Chemist within the Pharma Sector and he has remained in various Quality System roles as he moved through the IVD Industry and finally within the Medical Devices sector where he has dedicated over 20 years to Software Quality and compliance. During this time, he obtained an MSc in Quality Management from the University of Galway, Ireland.

At Boston Scientific, Damien is responsible for the Global adoption and implementation of Software Regulations and Standards across the company. He is a strong advocate of embracing technology and innovation with the aim to better serve Patients in a safe and compliant manner. Damien is an active member of various industry associations within Europe and the US and has a particular interest in the adoption and use of PCCPs (Pre Determined Change Control Plans) within Regulated environments.
